Penguins may not be able to fly, or even be the greatest of walkers, but they certainly are incredible movers underwater. We examined  the beautiful dives, glides and turns of humboldt penguins at Chester zoo. Our PhD student Fernanda Bribiesca Contreras used syncronised cameras to capture their motion, and then reconstruct 3d images using photogrammetry.
